  • AP Exam Information
    AP Exam Registration
AP Exam Registration will be held March 21 - March 25. The AP exam registration process is designed for students who would like to take an AP exam for a course they are not currently enrolled in for the 2015-2016 school year. The cost for a student to take an AP exam in a course they are not currently enrolled in is $92.00, per test. The check should be made out to Chapel Hill High School.  All interested students will need to register with Mr. Walker in D202 or in the ID room during lunch. Please present payments at the time of registration, or by March 25.

Note: The state of North Carolina will pay the cost for all public school students to take the AP or IB exam for each course the student is currently enrolled in for the 2015-2016. All students enrolled in an AP course must take the AP exam for the course. We will use the course enrollment data in PowerSchool to order the AP tests for students enrolled in AP courses at CHHS. There is an additional fee students are charged for taking an exam during the Late Testing Period for AP Testing, May 18 - May 20. CollegeBoard has provided the criteria schools follow in order to determine if a student is eligible to participate in AP exam Late testing. Schools will be charged a fee of $15.00 for each unused exam. The student account will be charged the return fee for each scheduled exam the student does not take. The AP exam dates are on the CHHS and CollegeBoard websites.  The AP exam testing window begins May 2 through May 13.

    AP Exam Preadministration Sessions
The preadministration session for all students taking AP exams will be held April 13, 14 and 15. This section is required and must be completed prior to AP testing. I will send out the schedule for the preadministration session before Spring Break.
